The West Point Post Office

This was a fun post office to make a photo of. I was nearly home after a softball trip to Covington, Indiana when I stopped here in West Point to make some photos. I was ready to leave town when I saw the post office down the hill a bit from me. This was a unique angle from what I normally do with these types of buildings. I usually like to photograph them straight on. Here I was able to show a little bit of the area around the post office as well because of how it sits at the edge of town. This photo was made at the end of a trip so it makes sense that it is the end of my post office photos this week.

Another Postal Week

I really love finding the old post offices buildings in the small towns that I visit. They can either look the same as each other, or have a look all to their own. I never know what I am getting into until I see the building in person. This week I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the post office buildings that I have seen on my way to softball games this year. Every afternoon you will get another building from somewhere on the way to a softball game.
