Anderson’s Auto – Earl Park, Indiana

Finding A Gem On The Side Of The Road

Yesterday I went on a little day trip up north on highway 52. I had planned on visiting Fowler and Kirkland to see what they had photography wise. In between them I saw a sign for the town of Earl Park and decided to give it a try. It was a pretty awesome little town full of things to photograph. I had a blast and was preparing to get back on the highway when I found the best part. This little scene was an amazing find. This entire property was full of things to photograph. This was by far my favorite image from there though. I tried to find out more about Oscar Anderson, but I haven’t found anything yet. Judging by everything on this property he had a great story.

More To Come

Yesterday was a fun little road trip. It poured down rain at times, but the subdued light was too good to pass up. I am sure that you will see more from this trip in the near future. I found more Carnegie Libraries, a courthouse, and even a Pizza King. It was a really good day.
