What Is At The End Of The Rainbow?

In this case it looks like Mackey Arena is at the end of the rainbow. I went up to campus because it looked like it could end up being a cool sunset. There was a storm moving in so anything could really happen. As I was driving down Northwestern I saw this rainbow forming, and I hoped that I could get somewhere to make a photo of it. I knew that this spot would work so I hurried over to it to get this photo. Of course it was gone by the time I made it up here, but a little patience paid off when the sun came back out.

Just Get Out There

I always say that about photography. You have to be there to make the photo. I was debating leaving the house on this day, and I ended up making a few photos that I liked. If I had just left earlier in the night when I was debating what the sky would do I might have had even more. As Wave Jetski once said “You miss 100% of the shots that you don’t take.”
