The Monticello Post Office

This year I had made a couple of trips to Monticello before I finally had the chance to explore the town. I think that it was a good thing because I found this post office at the perfect time. The light was perfect on it with the setting sun, and it was late enough in the day that there were no cars parked in front of it. I usually like the smaller town post office buildings because they have a little more character to them. This one though looked pretty cool for one of the bigger centers.

Another Postal Week

I really love finding the old post offices buildings in the small towns that I visit. They can either look the same as each other, or have a look all to their own. I never know what I am getting into until I see the building in person. This week I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the post office buildings that I have seen on my way to softball games this year. Every afternoon you will get another building from somewhere on the way to a softball game.
