The American Legion In Wolcott

Today is kind of a two for. You get the legion post with a post office attached to it. I made this photo on the same night as I made the photo that you saw yesterday. I like the idea of making these photos of different legions around the state because you can see how all of them are different. Already you see a huge difference in the two this week.

What better week to take a look at some American Legion buildings than this week? The legion was founded with patriotism in mind, and you don’t see as much patriotism as you do this week. Beyond being a way to help promote patriotism the legion also is an advocate for veterans. They were a key part in the G.I. Bill getting passed.
