Old And New Signs Tell A Story

Just on the edge of Warsaw, Indiana on the way to Columbia City sits an old Arby’s sign. Every now and then for a treat my youngest will ask for the meats and we will head to Arby’s. One day we went in to order our food, and they had a picture of one of these old signs. Back in the day each store had one of these lighting up the night outside. There are not many left, but it was cool to see another one in person.

Looking At All Of The Signs

I tried to line these signs up so that you could see most of them. You have a more modern Wendy’s sign in the immediate foreground along with the Arby’s sign. The faded Kmart sign shows what has become of that chain. Signs are made to get your attention. When they go away you don’t realize what seeds they planted in your brain until you see them again.
