A Colorful Liquor Store In Danville, Illinois

I don’t make a lot of photos of liquor stores. This one in Danville, Illinois though was too colorful to pass up. I drove by it on my way into town, and marked where to stop and make the photo on the way back to our hotel. All of the color in this photo was too good to pass up. Part of the fun of the last couple of years for me in photography has been finding things like this as I travel. This might not be photographed very often, but to me it was too good to pass up.

Back In Illinois

As crazy as it seems I had not been to Illinois since July of 2019. Nearly five years seems impossible to me. I used to spend a lot of time in Chicago so to think about how long it has been is crazy. We kind of forced that issue this past weekend when we travelled for softball. We could have stayed near the tournament, but we stayed across the border in Illinois. It was kind of cool to be back in the Land of Lincoln again.
