A Quick Northern Light Photo

I had a great time out and about making photos of the northern lights a while back. I made a trip to downtown Lafayette to try something that didn’t work out. I knew that it was a long shot, but it was worth trying. On the way back into the country I saw this scene. I stopped the car and made this photo handheld out the window. I just liked how it looked at the time. This is one of my favorite photos of the night, and I did not spend much time on the scene.

Holding Some Photos Back

When something like this happens I don’t want to post all of my photos at once. The feed was flooded with photos of the northern lights and it was easy to get lost in there. I held a few back thinking that I would post them later. Some of that is so that they are seen by more people, and some of that is because it is fun to relive a night like this one down the road.
