Having Some Fun With A Downtown Sculpture

Last week we were downtown having dinner and the sun was amazing. It was setting leaving just a little light on everything. I took the infrared camera out and made this photo before getting in my car to leave. With the way that the light was hitting I knew that the sky would go to black, and the sculpture would look great against that black sky. The fun thing about infrared photography is that you look at everything a little differently when you are making photos.

The Summer Of Infrared

I will break out the infrared camera in the winter a little, but I really use it in the summer a lot. During the summer months the hours of harsh light are far more. The fun thing about the infrared camera is that you want that harsh light. The more light the better most of the time. This camera lets me get out and make photos on days when I normally would not.
