A Quick Stop On The Road
Last weekend while on the way to Warsaw for softball I made a quick stop in the small town of Rockfield. I was not there long, but I made a couple of photos that I really liked while I was there. This is a simple photo, but something about it just works for me. I love these little towns. There is history all over that is just waiting to be documented. With some beautiful light like in the photo above I hit the town at the perfect time.
Growing As A Photographer
Years ago while out looking for photos early in the life of this blog I drove through this town and saw nothing worth photographing. Over the years though I have grown as a photographer and little scenes like this one really say something to me. There is a history here, and that is worth preserving in a photo. Every photo does not need to be an epic landscape. Some of them can be documenting a historic building like the photo above. I am glad that I made another trip to this little town.
