The Warsaw Community Public Library
As I said earlier today this past weekend was spent in Warsaw, Indiana for softball. I knew going into the week that this week was going to be about the libraries so I had to go and find this one. It is a Carnegie Library which is one of many that were funded in the early 1900’s by Andrew Carnegie. In all he funded around 2,500 libraries around the turn of the 20th century. These libraries really helped the smaller towns in which they were built. I have made it a little goal to try and visit a Carnegie Library whenever I am close to one.
Library Week
When summer comes around I don’t have the time that I normally do for photography for fun. To try and stay focused I decided to have little themes each week for my second post. It is a good way to get me out there with a purpose in mind to make photos. This has been a fun project so far, and gives me a lot to look for when I am traveling.
