A Welcome Sign In Brookston

It is funny how art can keep businesses alive. I don’t think Two Cookin’ Sisters has been in this building in years, but their mural keeps the business alive. I never stopped inside, but this mural made me want to on every trip down to Purdue. I was glad that it was still up when I made my photo trip to Brookston last year.

The End Of Mural Week

This week I have focused my afternoon posts on some of the murals that I have seen the last couple of years. I love the way that businesses take the side of their building and turn it into art. This week has made me want to try and find some murals being made to document them. It would be a fun photo story to see the building before, during, and after the mural process.
