E.T. Makes An Appearance In Cincinnati

While in Cincinnati to see Taylor Swift last summer we stayed very near to the Fifth Third building downtown. I loved this mural on the side of the building. As a kid I loved the movie E.T. It was everything that you could want in a movie. This is part of a huge colorful mural on the side of this building. You have Neil Armstrong covering most of it with E.T. and Eliot on the corner. Before writing this post I had no idea that Steven Spielberg was born in Cincinnati. Growing up he made so many films that shaped my childhood so it was cool finding out another fact about him.

Murals All Week

This week my afternoon posts will feature a few murals that I have seen the last couple of years. It is always interesting to me how these get made and where the artist comes from. This particular mural was created by Eduardo Kobra from Brazil. His work before this was a mural for the 2016 Olympics in Rio. This is an amazing piece of art, and I would have loved to have seen it as it was being made.
