A Mix Of Both Worlds

One of my favorite things to photograph in Lafayette is the Lafayette Theater. One artist that I have been recently looking into is Edward Hopper. You may not know the name, but you have seen his version or a version of his famous painting Nighthawks. Here artist Andrea Townsend blends both the theater and the famous painting together beautifully. This is one of my favorite murals in Lafayette so it made sense to include it this week.

More Mural Themed Weeks

As I was putting this week together I realized that I could really have some fun with this mural theme. Lafayette alone has enough for several weeks. This might be a fun summer adventure for the family to go and find more art around town. There are the murals that we go and check out frequently, but there are some amazing murals that we have yet to discover. On days that we have nothing planned it could be a fun little trip over the bridge for some art.
