Sunset On The Farm

Sunset On The Farm

Last night driving home from softball I stopped to make a few photos in downtown Monticello. I have been there a few times, but I always needed to get back home after the game. Last night I had nothing stopping me so I walked downtown for a while. After my walk I then started finding barns and a new route home with some beautiful light. This farm and fence seemed like a perfect subject for a photo. I love these little scenes in the country. This barn led to a small detour on the way home that led to me finding many more great barns.

A Much Needed Drive

Last night was the last varsity game of the year. Softball has taken up much of my spring this year. You would think that I would be happy to move on to other things. That was not the case though. I had so much fun this year making photos of the West Lafayette softball team. It was fun seeing the young players grow and start to gain confidence. The loss last night though meant saying goodbye to three seniors. That is always the hard part of photographing sports. My nights have now opened up a little, but I will miss when they were full of softball. It is still too soon to have any thoughts together enough to talk about this season. That will come later on down the road. For now I am just glad that it happened and that I was able to help document some of the season.
