Turning The Mundane Into Art

These power boxes can be ugly pieces of metal in some towns. Here in Remington, Indiana though they turned that ugly box into a piece of art that makes you walk over and take a look at it. From down the road I really was wondering why two British style phone booths were in this small town. As I got closer I realized the genius of what they had done. It was a fun way to make something mundane into something beautiful.

Remington Gets Its Own Week

I like having some sort of theme for my afternoon posts. This week the art in Remington seemed like a great way to spend my afternoons. Everyday I will take a look at a different piece of art that I found in this small town. When I post these types of photos I always like to give a shoutout to the artist who made it. I never thought to look at the back of this to get the info, and I can’t find any online. It is great though so if you know who made this let me know so that I can’t post their info here.
