The Public Art Of Remington, Indiana

The Little Surprises In Small Towns

Wednesday night after the softball game just outside of Remington, Indiana I decided to take a drive through the town. I had been there nearly a decade earlier so I had some ideas of what I wanted to photograph. As I hit the main part of town though that sort of changed. I saw this great mural and view of the main street. I didn’t have to go far to find more. I decided to try and find as much of it as I could. It was a fun little hunt that led to some of my favorites photos from the town. I love small towns. They all have awesome little things to find and photograph. This one way full of them.

Remington Gets Its Own Week

I like having some sort of theme for my afternoon posts. This week the art in Remington seemed like a great way to spend my afternoons. Everyday I will take a look at a different piece of art that I found in this small town. This particular piece of art was made by Austin, Texas artist Efren Rebugio, Jr or Everyday Research as he signs his work. You can follow that link to see more of his amazing work.
