A Short Walk For A Photo

Just Outside The Hotel

Five years ago we were stopped in Cumberland, Maryland for the night. When you travel you get into town late and you just want to rest. The next morning I woke up with just a short period of time before we had to leave. I wanted to see the town though so I skipped breakfast to take a walk. Just down the road from the hotel was this great building. It had a great historic feel to it in this historic town. I didn’t have to go far to make my first photo, and that was a good thing.

A Popular Combo

I made this photo with my Canon 5D Mark IV and my Canon 24-105mm II lens. When I was a Canon photographer this was my favorite combo. There was just a look to the photos that I made with this lens and camera that I really liked. I sold both of these when I switched to Sony, but part of me thinks that I should have just kept them to mess around with. That is not a smart idea though. I hold on to gear for way too long. I would like to give this combo a try again. Right now I have a similar setup that is my walk around combo with Sony.
