Sunset At The Campus Inn

Last night the sky was ready to light up so I hopped in the car to head somewhere to make a photo. I had no great idea in my head that I could get to quickly so I ran down to the Levee to see what lined up. The old Campus Inn lined up really well with the great light in the sky. I let fate decide my target and it picked this place. The sky really looked nice and helped me make a photo that I really liked.

Hurry Up And Make A Photo

This sort of has two meanings. The first part of that is that I had to get here quickly before the sky lit up. I made it in time and was able to make my photo. The second part of this is that this motel will not be here soon. I think in the next month or so the demolition will begin on a lot of this area. Once again roads will change where they are, and the area will look completely different. It must be something that has to happen every twenty years or so. The old Campus Inn has been around for a while now, but it will soon be gone. I like that I have this photo of it.
