Rainy Day Photography

When it is a rainy day like this one it is not always easy to get out and make photos. It just doesn’t feel like a good time to go out and make images. On the day that I made this image the rain had stopped and I was just out having some fun. Of course I was finding the puddles to make some reflection photos. I had made a photo similar to this one in the past, but here I adjusted my composition a little to include the building on the right and the art on the side of it. It is kind of like a bonus reflection in the photo. With everything being cancelled tonight it might be another good night to get out and make some reflection photos.

When The Photo Means A Little More

Today I have been reading a little bit about the building on the right of this image. The former bar on the corner has been bought by the city. They now have a great space near both of the theaters that they have purchased. I like the idea behind this, and I hope that this is another big step in making that theater district amazing. It would be great to see both of these old buildings being used more.
