The Reimers Building In Lafayette

The F.E. Reimers building in Lafayette is one that I must have driven by many times over the years without paying much attention to it. One day while out walking around downtown I realized that it was a very unique building. The brick painted white always reminds me of old Comiskey Park. Yesterday I was at the Civic Theatre and I went for a quick walk around the block with my camera to see what I could capture. I finally made a photo of this building that I have been looking at for a few months now.

Waiting My Turn

The entirety of this building is pretty cool. There always seems to be one vehicle in front of it though. I am waiting my turn to photograph this building when the sky is nice and the area in front of it is empty. It will be worth it when that day comes though. Part of the fun of photographing the area around you is that you can wait for the photo that you have in your mind.
