The Red Van Behind The Printer

While walking in Lafayette one night I came across this red van parked behind one of the local print shops. I think that I would have passed this photo up if it were any other color than red. The red though looked great against the blue sky. A little color always helps a photo. These are the little scenes that I want to focus more on this year. A little slice of life in Lafayette.

Thinking Of Film

When I made this photo I had this preset in mind. I had a slightly washed out film look in my head. When I got home I tried my idea out, and it came out just as I hoped that it would. It is really fun when you see the scene a certain way in your head, and it turns out that way on your computer. On this photography journey you start to see things differently. You can see what lens you want to use and even what type of edit you want later on. It is a fun place to be when it all works out.
