Sunset In Lafayette

The Clouds Clear In Time For Sunset

Last night while my little one was at scouts I was in downtown Lafayette making photos. As I was getting ready to leave the sun popped its head out for the first time in a couple of days. It was a welcome sight. I was near where my car was parked so I decided to try and make one last photo. Something was missing from this scene though. As I was ready to pack it in I saw this cool little van coming down the road. It would be nearly by itself when it went past, and I knew that it would make for an interesting photo.

A Different End Of Walk

At this point on my walk I was on a FaceTime call with my family. I was just going to get into the car so it would be no big deal to be on the call. When I saw the bus coming it took a little bit of juggling to get my camera up to make this photo. It was worth it though. It might just be my favorite photo that I made last night. I often talk about the concept of one more photo. It is putting that little bit of extra work in. Often my best photos come from that time. That was the case last night too.
