A Rainy Walk Through Downtown Lafayette

After grabbing dinner one night in Lafayette we were headed to the Civic Theatre to catch a show when it started to rain. It didn’t rain a large amount, but enough to give me some reflections on the ground. I had some fun making photos on that short walk. Because of the day and the time downtown was not crowded, but I did get lucky to have an umbrella in my photo.

Always Looking At Light

Blue hour is my favorite time of day to make photos. Everything just seems to look better. The light is more even which really helps you capture a scene a little better. Here the warm lights from Bistro 501 really play well with that blue sky. This is a simple photograph, but I really like how it turned out.
