Looking Down The Road To Mackey

This is a photo that I have wanted to make for a while now. I have tried it with my 105mm lens in the past, but I knew that I wanted to be farther away with a longer focal length. Tuesday morning I was headed to the bog after dropping my oldest off at school. I decided that since I had the 200-600mm lens with me that I would make this photo. One of these days on gameday I will try this again when the fans are all walking down the road. The degree of difficulty will go up a bit with cars everywhere, but it will be worth a shot.

Back In Mackey Tonight

I really thought that my basketball season was over. My last game of the season would have been Purdue clinching the Big Ten title. That was a good one to go out on for sure. Tonight though I will be back in Mackey making photos for Duquesne as they take on Purdue in the WNIT. I haven’t had the chance to use the 300mm lens for the women yet so it will be fun to play with that a little during the game.
