Sunrise At The Boilermaker Statue

This morning the sky was looking like it could light up. I was hoping that I could get through the drop off line at school before it did that. Of course the best light of the day was when I was just turning into the school for drop off. I knew that since the light had started that I needed to get somewhere quick. Just down the road from where I was is the Boilermaker statue which also happens to face right into the sunrise. I drove the couple of blocks down the road and quickly parked and ran up to the statue. I really like how this turned out. I didn’t go out this morning to make a photo, but I am glad that I had my camera in the car.

A Big Week For The Boilermakers

This week Purdue starts what I hope is a long tournament run. When everything shut down four years ago I would go down to this statue just to makes photos. It was a good luck piece for me. This is a good week to make another visit to the statue hopefully sending some good luck down to Indy.
