A Porch Equation

A few weeks ago while out and a walk with my wife we passed this house with a chalkboard and equation on the porch. A lot of photography is math, but I guess I am not that good at photography because I have no idea what was going on on this board. I am pretty sure that it is a Dirichlet series of equations, but even reading what those are made my brain hurt. I do like the idea that at least one person knows what is going on on this board in this house. I would have gone up to the door to ask what it was about, but I didn’t know if they had a Ring doorbell or not.

Finding The Scene

Finding a scene like this one really gets me excited. When I first started this journey on the blog I was always looking for grand landscapes to photograph. Over the past year or so I have really enjoyed finding these little scenes among everyday life. It has given me a new outlook on photography. I have been really excited to share this photo ever since I made it. I might be the only one who likes it, but I really do like the simplicity of it. I think that finding the little scenes all around will help in all aspects of my photography.
