The First Midweek Game Of 2024

Wednesday I was back at Alexander Field to see the first midweek of the year for Purdue. Selfishly I hoped that Northern Illinois would show up in one of their White Sox inspired variants, but that didn’t happen. The Purdue offense took a bit to come alive, but they ended up having another huge day at home. The first three home runs of the year at home all occurred during this game. This team has some hitters so I hope that it is the first of many at home. With the sun out the day before a predicted day of thunderstorms I tried to use it in all of my pregame images. I really like how the photo above turned out.
