The Courthouse Looking Good At Night

This was a fun night to make photos. I parked uptown to photograph my wife getting a tattoo. I then drove to Harrison to cover a basketball game for the paper. Before all of that though I made this photo of the courthouse. It was a perfect night to make the photo, and the green light on the top for Christmas always seems to make my black and white images of it even better.

Lots Of Dead Space

Back when I was just playing around with this photography thing the secretary at my work commented on my photos that I sure like to put a lot of sky in them. I have always liked dead space, but here I really included it. I really like how it makes the photo look here. If this were a sports photo I would have cropped it so that just the important info was included. Here though I thought that I could leave some space up above.
