Seeing Little Shop Of Horrors Live

Finally Seeing A Production Of Little Shop Of Horrors

As a kid the movie Little Shop Of Horrors seemed like it was always on HBO. I remember how excited I was for it when it was first announced. The stars in it were amazing. Rick Moranis who I loved on SCTV was the lead. Steve Martin had a funny role as a dentist, and Bill Murray was finally back in a movie again. The songs were catchy, and I watched it almost every time that I could. My little one couldn’t understand why I was so excited when I flipped the playbill over last year to see that Harrison was putting this play on in the spring. I was a little worried that I was looking forward to it too much. I know the songs very well, and sometimes that can hinder your enjoyment of something. I can say without a doubt that the kids at Harrison did it once again. They have an amazing program there that keeps pumping out the hits. Everyone seems to know their role and make the most of it. It is really fun watching them do their thing, and I think they may have inspired my little one to give it a try.

A Great End To A Fun Day

This was the perfect way to end a fun day. I started off the day making a few photos at volleyball for a little bit. I really didn’t have time to get out there, but I set a limit of a half hour to try out the 300mm lens at volleyball. It worked well, and I was very happy with what I was able to do. Then it was an opening day doubleheader of baseball. Opening day is already fun, but two games is twice as nice. I had to leave a little early for the play, but it was still a fun day at the park.

More Photos From The Play

I really wanted to photograph this play during dress. I thought a few months ago that it was something that could happen, but the week of the dress I found out that the photographer wasn’t having me being there. That really bummed me out. I had a week planned of posts leading up to the play with those dress photos being the capper to the week. Of course that didn’t happen. It is my favorite play though so I took my A1 with the 135mm lens on it to make some photos from my seat. I don’t like that they are all from the same angle, but I was able to make some photos that I liked. A few of those are below.
