The T-Shirt Game Is Back Again
Every year one of my favorite games to attend in Mackey is the t-shirt game. I love the design and the fact that the fans are together in making the arena look cool. Back in 2014 I was renting an infrared camera on gameday so of course I made a wide photo of the stadium with it. I really didn’t know how to edit infrared images back then so I just turned them all black and white. I went back and took another shot at this one to get it a little closer to what I was thinking of when I made the image. I am writing this post ahead of time so right now I don’t know what the design of the stadium will be. Purdue has a great team though so I am sure that it will be something amazing.
A Look Back
Below are some of my favorite photos from the last few years of the t-shirt game. It is always fun putting this group of photos together. Over the years my gear has changed and so has my eye. It is always fun to take a look back at not only the design, but how I decided to capture it. One of the photos below is blown up large as you walk into the Mackey Arena ticket office. I stop and look at it every time that I walk into the stadium. It always fills me with a lot of pride to see that my work is used to promote Purdue sports.

Great pictures.
