One Last Black And White Photo For The Month

This month was all about making black and white images. The goal was to make something everyday to train my eye to see the light and shadow a bit better. Every photo that I made during the month was not for this blog. Sometimes they were little ideas like the one above. I don’t know that it would ever win any awards, but it was a fun look at the way that the light fell on this old chimney.

Getting The Infrared Camera Out

When I went out today I had the idea to make a bunch of infrared photos. I didn’t end up getting to most of those ideas because I was working on getting a new lens for this coming baseball and softball season. Next week that time that I spent today will make much more sense. On my way home though I stopped to make the photo above. I may do something like this again, but maybe just for a week. It is fun to go out with a purpose in mind. I really like just taking what comes to me though. It is a much more relaxing kind of photography for me. Next week my afternoon post will all have a theater theme to them. We will go right from one theme to another.
