Just A Couple Of Games Left In Mackey This Year

Tonight is the final Purdue women’s game of the year. After that I have one or two men’s games left in Mackey. I have always treated the end of the year with a little reverence. You never know if you will be back the following year. Last year taught me that passes are not a given thing. I will spend some time soaking in Mackey these last couple of games. Who knows? My last game in Mackey this year could end with a little confetti. I still have never photographed that celebration from the floor. This year I hopefully will finally get that chance.

Coming Down Like Confetti

I made this photo a couple of weeks ago when the snow was really coming down. I was already thinking ahead to some possible celebration photos later in the year as I walked around Mackey. This is a very cool stadium that has seen some great moments. Hopefully there are a couple more left in it this year. A win for the seniors tonight would be a good start.
