Starting The Project Off Right

I made this photo on the first day of the month. I was up on campus looking for some places where the contrast was good for black and white photography. I found this old bank last year as a good subject. I was up on campus during a beautiful blue hour, but of course I was thinking about black and white photography. The good thing about this project is that I was still making color images during the month which will all start showing up once the calendar turns.

Wishing That I Could Go Back

I would love to photograph this bank when the doorway where the ATM machine is now was the main entrance to the bank. Heck a photo of this bank ten years ago would have looked completely different. From a few steps to my right you could have seen into Lafayette before the high rise apartments went up. I started this project just a little late. For some things though it is right on time.
