Snow Falls On Mr. Wooden

A Beautiful Snowfall On Mr. Wooden

A week ago I was on campus making photos as a huge snowfall was coming down. I am writing this a couple of days early, but as I write this post it is 65 degrees out. It seems like this was so long ago. I really enjoy a good snowfall, and I had a blast making photos out there. I know that I make this photo a lot, but when I am testing gear out it is a good baseline because I have made the photo so much. I like the way that by moving back and using the long end of my 28-200mm lens that I was able to compress the snow a little.

Breaking Out The Infrared Camera

For some reason I did not use the infrared camera very much during this black and white project. Here we are nearing the end of it, and I only have had it out a couple of times. Here I got it out as kind of a test. I wanted to see just what it would do in the snow. It is collecting reflected light for me, and with a heavy cloud acting like a soft box up above me everything is sort of reflected. I really like how it rendered this scene.
