Dropping Off A Letter To The Editor

Outside of the old Journal and Courier building is this old door for delivering mail. I immediately thought of how many letters to the editor were slipped in here over the years. These are the little details that are fun to find while walking around downtown. Lafayette has an old downtown that has all kinds of little things to find. One of my goals this year is to find more of these details and document them.

A Busy Week

From this point on this week gets really busy for me. That is always a good thing. I did not have a lot of free time earlier in the week, but with the Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships back in town I will have my mornings and nights full. My plan is to have this blog auto posting for a few days while I get through the end of the week. I plan on posting about the championships, but I will wait until they are over so that I can take my time and talk about them a little.
