Visiting Camera Outfitters After Hours
Last week I dropped my little one off at scouts and I had an hour to myself to make some photos. I went over to Market Square to try a couple of things. I decided to walk over to Camera Outfitters to make a couple of photos. They were not open so I was guaranteed not to spend any money. That is hard for me to do when they are open. Rena and Ross are amazing. I have told this story on the blog before, but when I first moved here I was really bitten by the camera bug. I wanted a camera better than my Canon Rebel. I was new to town though, and I had just paid all of my deposits for a new apartment and everything that comes with that. I was short on cash, but Rena made sure that I walked out of her store with a Canon 60D. I will never forget how she helped me get started. If you are in the Lafayette area and you need camera gear you should visit Camera Outfitters when they are open.
A Long Way Since That First 60D
Since that first 60D that I bought from Rena at the old Berry’s Camera Shop I have gone through a few cameras and even changed brands. That old 60D is still on my shelf ready to make some photos. I keep saying this, but one of these days I need to get it back out to have some fun with it. It would be fun to see what I could do with that camera. Writing this I have a couple of ideas for some photos with that old camera.
