One Of My New Favorite Spots On Campus

This door started off as a random door for my random door series, but has quickly become a spot where I will stop to find a photo while out on a photo walk. I love the light and the symmetry here. It was perfect for this month of black and white photos. Cary Quad is a good subject that I need to focus on more than I do. It is usually at the beginning or the end of my photo walks so I cruise on by it. I need to just do a project this summer where I spend an hour outside of it finding new angles and ideas.

One Thing Missing

I really think that this photo could have been much cooler if someone had been walking through the frame. Although the way that this area is set up it would have had to be a perfectly placed person to make it work. Something in the middle would have really helped this frame. The fun part about living here is that I can go back to this scene and try again some night when the foot traffic might be a little busier.
