A Fun Unexpected Photo

Sunday while my daughter was in a class my wife and I went for a walk downtown. From day one she has somehow understood this crazy thing that I like to do. She walked with me while I looked for good subjects for my black and white project. This was a fun find. The late day light was hitting the old Journal and Courier building just right to put a spotlight on it. Of course the perfectionist in me would have liked the light to be a little over to the right, but I will take this moment.

This Is What I Had In Mind

When I was thinking about this project this is the kind of photo that I had in mind. The goal is to get out and walk to see what I can find. As I said early on I want to make a photo every day during this month with black and white in mind. I may not post that photo, but just getting out there is half the battle. These little moments that you can’t plan for are the best.
