The Doorway To The Stallard & Schuh Building

This is a building that I have tried to photograph a few times years ago. I always was waiting for the perfect time. It is hard to get good light on this entire front of the building the way that it is situated. By just focused on the area around the door though I was able to make a photo that I liked. This is a cool older building, and my random door series is a good way to show part of it off.

Photographing Historic Buildings

This building was built in 1872 and designed by the same architect that designed the courthouse that now stands in front of it. It is hard to imagine how much history has gone through this building over the years. Part of the fun of the last couple of years has been finding some of these historic buildings and photographing them. This is one that I need to work on a good overall idea for.
