The Post Office In Oxford, Indiana

I made this photo of the Oxford post office on one of the hottest days of last year as the sun was going down. That beautiful late day light made this photo very cool to me. The deep blues in the sky with the golden building are what I dream about making photos of when I go out. The heat made it so that I did not have many people walking around in my photos either. This is one of those fun post office buildings with some letters missing or soon to be missing. It also is very similar to the post office buildings in the small towns around it.

A Week Of Post Office Photos

Last week I had some fun looking at various Pizza Kings that I have seen while driving around. This week I will take a look at the local post offices in the towns that I have visited last year. With making a couple of posts a day it frees me up to have some fun theme weeks. Planning a theme week is a good way to get me out there looking for photos to fill those themes. I have some other ideas for weeks like this that you might see fairly soon. This past year I went from thinking about scaling back my postings to doubling them up. Coming up with fun ideas for the blog is one of those things that made me excited to post again. It has been a fun endeavor.
