A Snowy Sunset At Bob Friend Field

Watching The Sun Set At Bob Friend Field

Last night we were getting some sledding in quickly on the hill right by Bob Friend Field. I knew that we would be there as the sun set so I had my camera in the car. The sky did not disappoint as the sun went down. There were a couple of really nice moments where it looked very good. Here just before the sun went below the horizon it sort of kissed off of the press box giving me a nice photo. The sky was just catching fire here too which really worked out.

Finding Another Photo

I liked the first photo in the post, but it didn’t show the snow on the ground that was reflecting some of that light in the sky. I went directly in front of the press box and put my camera right above the ground. It gave me another look that I really liked. You could see just how cool this sunset really was. I also made a photo of the light tower on the first base side with the beautiful skies around it that you can see below. I was not gone from sledding very long, but I managed to make three photos that I really liked. Hopefully we can get a sky like this when the boys are playing this spring.
