Three Cameras At Guggman Haus

Three Cameras At Guggman Haus

Last September I was at Guggman Haus to celebrate my older brother turning 40. Before everything started I walked out front to make a couple of photos of the old house that we were inside. With a little time on my hands this was a perfect opportunity to put together one of my three cameras and one photo posts. I was just getting into film when I made these and I liked seeing what the different stocks could do. Seeing photos from the same spot let me decide what I liked best.

The Setups

The top image was made with my Canon AE-1 with my Sigma FD 28mm lens on it. I had Portra 400 in it which I saved for the special occasion. I have really enjoyed using Portra 400 since my first time using it on my birthday less than a month before I made this image. The second image was made with my Canon AF35mII loaded with Kodak Tri-X 400. For a point and shoot camera this one did a good job of capturing the scene. The black and white film gives it a much different feel too. The final photo was made with my Sony A7RIII with my Sony 50mm f/1.2 lens on it. All three have their pros and cons in my mind. Which one do you like the best?
