A Quick Drive

This time of year I can get both kids to school and still see the sunrise. Of course this time of year it is also usually cloudy in the morning, but that just means that I get a cool sky for my blue hour photos. Earlier this week with rain still coming down I went out to make some cool blue hour photos after everyone was in school. Blue hour doesn’t last that long, but it was long enough for me to make a few photos that I really liked. By that point I was soaked anyway so it was time to head home.

Looking For Light

This building always works so great for blue hour or night time photography because it kind of lights itself up. It is also a great building to photograph during blue hour because its color is a great compliment to the sky. This is a building that I have not photographed much over the life of this blog, but in the past year I have started to make up for that.
