One Last Trip To See Ruby

Making My Final Trip Of 2023 To See Ruby

Every year I make a photo of Ruby to begin and end the year at the Celery Bog. It is kind of my way to bookend the year. I made this photo on Christmas Eve as the sun was going down. It was a typical Christmas Eve with the temperature nearly sixty degrees. It is not normal to be out in a t-shirt making photos at the end of December, but there I was. Ruby was enjoying the warm sun though so for that little bit that is what mattered. Right now Ruby is just chilling, but her boyfriend will show up in a couple of months again I am sure.

A Special Trip

I made this trip on Christmas Eve. My little one was out there for a walk with my sister in law so I decided to head out and see Ruby in the late day light. When I got there the light was amazing, and my little one joined me for the last few photos as the sun was setting. It was fun teaching her how to anticipate Ruby opening up her eyes. Dogs and kids coming by on the path are things that Ruby will take an interest in. Here she keeps an eye out on a girl with louder shoes skipping down the path. I love making cool photos, but when my kids are with me and into it that makes the trips even better.
