A Sunrise At The Cemetery On The Hill

I have driven by this cemetery many times over the years. On this trip though I was a little earlier than normal though and the light was pretty good.  I knew that it would make a good silhouette so I pulled over to make the picture. I could have made an HDR image, but I liked the fact that only the sky was properly exposed. The trees and gravestones would tell the same story no matter how they looked.

A Welcome Photo

On this trip I was out looking for owls. That does not always work out so it was nice to make a photo early in the trip in case the birds did not work out. When it is a photo that I have thought about for a while it is even better.
