The Old Ice Cream Stand

These little places on the highway down to Purdue were things that I passed hundreds of times over the years. I was always in a hurry to get to Purdue or in a hurry to get home. I have had some fun taking my time and exploring these little towns. This is a photo that I had thought about making for quite some time now. It felt good to finally make it.

Making Photos For Me

At some point this year I decided that this blog would have photos for me. Photos like this might not have made the blog in the past because I was always worried about what others would think. The funny thing is that once I started to make photos that I liked the viewership of the blog nearly doubled. I don’t know exactly why that happened, but I like to think that it had something to do with my enthusiasm for my photography. I am sure that I will talk about this a little bit more as the year winds down.
