A Double Look Down Main Street

I really like how they dress up Main Street for the holidays. West Lafayette really does not have a downtown so when I want those photos I usually head across the bridge. Here a low point in the road allowed me to make a photo that doubles up the courthouse and some of the Christmas decorations on the light poles.

Using The 12-24mm Lens

This is a lens that I have not used much lately. With the holidays though it comes back out to capture some of the wider scenes around. I really like the ultra wide angle lens. I need to work it back into my sports photography a little more. In sports where I can get closer to the athletes it would give me a different look from what I have been doing.
