Checking Out The Stores On Main Street

During the market last week that shut Main Street down it let me have some space to make some photos that I would not have normally made. Here I liked the way that the light was falling on the store and on the wreath above the store. It is a simple photo, but it captures a moment in time. I really like the light here, and I tried to let it take center stage. This is a photo that I might not have made last year, but this year I have tried to broaden my horizons on what is a photograph to me.

A Disco Christmas

When I walked up to the window to look at it closer I saw this disco ball snowman among the other window dressings. This window has an old time feel to it with the lights and the dress. Part of the fun of walking Main Street was finding things that I had not seen before. This was definitely a window that I had not photographed in the past.
