Photographing The Courthouse At Christmas

Last week I was walking down Main Street and things lined up to finally make this photo without people or cars in the way. I like the new way that they are lighting the courthouse compared to the old way with traditional lights. The old traditional lights never went up to the peak which would have been hard to do I am sure. It never looked complete to me though. Here with the new lights they can change the colors. In fact during the holiday season the courthouse alternates from green to red.

Always Making Photos

I was on my way to make a few photos before a basketball game when I saw that this would work out. I already had two assignments on the night, but I made sure to make this photo as well. It is always good to keep your eyes open. It helps you see things later during your assignment. Here with posted a couple of images a day during the holiday season I really have to have my eyes open to keep the photos coming. It has been a good exercise to see things differently.
